My hair is shorter. By a lot. And I'm dangerously close to having to wear contacts daily.
I'm entering college this spring semester for a major in chemistry. To be an optometrist. I'm on good terms with all of my family, again. We've had small feuds but we're working through things. I graduated HS in May. My father went and bought me a camera. Problem is that it doesn't work quite so well. I'm getting myself a new one.
I make 100$ a week babysitting kids. I need a real job, and a new computer.
My laptop is on the fritz.
My kneecap is displaced. I also displaced my shoulder.
Both on the left side. I haven't been sick in a long time.
I'm happy but my wont for photography is fading, fast.

Seems to be a photographer or graphic designer. :/
It makes me feel insignificant when I see my own art compared to theirs.

A long update?

No, I'll try to make this very short :]
It has been quite cold here, on the east coast. I would prefer heat, but I have someone to cuddle with, so no complaining coming from me.
My mother kicked me out due to our indifference. We have had too much bad blood between us for too long for anything to change now. My older sister is not speaking to me as well.
My mother also decided to start going through my mail, to see my ACT scores. I had a 58 (score of 21) percentile total. That means I have done better than 58% of the country. A minimal of 20 is required to get into 4 of the schools I have applied to, all private.
My reading score was a 26, I believe. The ACT website was nice enough to let me know my scores.
The only thing that bothers me about my older sister doing such a thing is that it isn't her battle to fight, she has disowned me as a sister until I work this out with my mother, and she is determinedly trying to get at me. I am so far just ignoring her.
My father and I are speaking a lot more now. I started again at one of my previous schools, I am applying to several jobs close to where I am staying (with my boyfriend) and I am a lot happier than I have been in a long time. Things are better than they have been in a while.
Okay, I'm done with the update; It's longer than I intended, but it could have been even longer. I am going to go and watch The Science of Sleep with Tommy, so I am off. Have a good night/day, wherever you are :]

Dying for heat stroke.

It's been a while since I posted any journals on this account. So a quick update for my watchers.
Life has been slow and rather sad, lately. I am doing fine, although a little ill.
The temperature has dropped dramatically in the past few weeks. It peaked at about 90 degrees F out in SoCal today, while it managed to snow here. I would like to be home, where that kind of weather is mildly normal (For southern California, anyway. I'm North East.)
I am still not used to snow, or the blazing cold this early in the year.
It should be about 80, instead it is about 30 outside.
The kitten has been delayed and the dog is now gone. I am hoping we get a kitten for Halloween, though I need names for it. Any suggestions are more than welcome :] Hopefully it will be an affectionate girl, because for some reason my mother has banned male animals from out house
The left knee is acting up a bit, and I've fallen down the stairs a few more times. Gravity has it out for me, though I suppose that is a part of my daily life.
I'm managing a slow source of income to pay for things myself this year, and start on a book fund for college.
Done telling my little tales. It's late and I have school, grade to maintain, you know. Have a good night, or morning, depending on where you are.

So I applied for CSU Sacramento.
Turns out, I can't apply until after Oct 1st because of their budget cut. Tarnation to the year I had to graduate from high school. This is LAME. >_< Well. I guess waiting a bit wouldn't kill me, since I met the requirements and more.
Here's to hoping they'll accept me when I apply. I've sent out applications to several other schools as well, but CSU is currently top choice. Not really incredibly close, but in Calif just the same
